Privacy policy
This is a personal blog about the restoration of a Mercedes W115. It sells nothing, has no user accounts and does not use advertising cookies. The only way to send us personal data is the contact form.
Who is responsible for the data
Pedro Gomes, author of this website. For any question about your data, write to [email protected] or use the contact form.
What data we collect
When you use the contact form: your name, email, phone number (only if you give it; it is optional), the type of message and the message itself.
When you visit the site, the server temporarily records technical data, such as your IP address, to protect the site against abuse (for example, to limit repeated messages). We do not use analytics tools that track visitors, or tracking cookies: Cloudflare's visitor statistics are anonymous and cookie-free.
What it is used for
Only to reply to your message. We do not use your data for advertising, we do not sell it and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes.
The legal basis is your request to get in touch and our legitimate interest in replying to it (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) of the GDPR).
Where it is kept and for how long
The site does not store messages in any database: the form sends them directly by email. They are kept only in Pedro's mailbox and are deleted once they are no longer needed, at most 12 months after the last exchange of messages.
Services we use
To run the site, we rely on these providers, which process data only on our behalf:
- Cloudflare — hosting for the site and the form, cookie-free visitor statistics, and the anti-spam check on the form (Turnstile), which looks at technical browser signals, such as your IP address, only to tell people from bots.
- Resend — sending the email with your message.
- Google (Gmail) — the mailbox where the message is received.
Some of these providers are based in the United States. In those cases, the data transfer is covered by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or by standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
Your rights
You can ask at any time to access, correct or delete your data, or object to its processing. Just write to [email protected].
What is stored in your browser
The site does not use cookies or store anything in your browser.
